At The Skin Center of North Carolina our Permanent Makeup artist has performed hundreds of treatments and we have a wide range of colors to suit every skin tone. This procedure can add definition to the eyes or brows, and enhance lip color and give the illusion of volume. Many people who have experienced hair loss of the eyebrows have found permanent makeup to be the perfect solution to restoring a natural looking brow.
What can I expect the day of treatment?
A topical desensitizing gel may be applied to help minimize any discomfort. Most patients describe the procedure as a slight pricking sensation. The length of the appointment depends on the area being treated. However, most appointments are approximately one hour. Since delicate skin or sensitive areas may swell slightly or redden, it is advised not to make any social plans for the same day.
