QUICKLIFT™
The Quicklift™ is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that lifts and tightens loose skin on the mid-to-lower face and minimizes the appearance of nasolabial folds. The Quicklift™ is a minor outpatient procedure. Because this procedure is more conservative than a traditional facelift most patients experience minimal post operative swelling, bruising, and risk of complication.
THE CONSULTATION
During your evaluation, Dr. Cook will discuss your facial structure, its current condition, the probable outcome of the procedure, as well as your expectations. You will have an opportunity to see before and after photographs and at your request, you will be able to speak with previous patients about their personal experiences.
HOW IS THE PROCEDURE DONE?
Unlike other “mini-lifts” the Quicklift™ involves tightening the connective tissue layer beneath the skin called the superficial musculoaponeutonic system, or SMAS, making the results last longer. This technique delivers impressive results similar to a traditional lower facelift. The incision is carefully hidden along the sideburn area, behind the tragus of the ear, and under and behind the earlobe. 
Dr. Cook uses an exclusive suturing technique to reduce the tension at the closure and sutures under magnification to further minimize visible scarring. The Quicklift™ is an outpatient procedure that takes approximately 2 hours to perform.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT AFTER THE PROCEDURE?
Our surgical technicians will review all post operative care with both you and your care giver.
Following the procedure the incision must be kept clean. Generally, patients experience minimal bruising and swelling and are able to return to a reasonable daily routine. However, the recovery period will vary from patient to patient.
